These photos were taken on a series of country walks I did over the weekend near the River Eden in Cumbria.

You could take yourself on an imaginary MINDFUL walk using these images or similar such beautiful images in nature.

Notice how they makes you feel and recognise how powerful your wonderful mind is to be able to get a sense or feeling that you are actually there.
Spending as much time as you like looking at the images, lingering on the ones you prefer, imagining that you are there right now. Tapping into every sense, really experiencing this beautiful walk in nature in a mindful way and perhaps asking yourself questions such as . . .

What temperature is it? What is the weather like?
Is there any warmth to be felt?
Is there an occasional cool breeze?
What does my clothing feel like against the skin?
What is the ground like – hard, soft, stony, damp?
What colour is the sky? Can I see any clouds?
Can I see any wildlife or animals?
What do they look like?
What noises can I hear? Those close by and those in the distance?
What colours and shapes can I see?
What can I see as I cross over the river bridge – a different perspective perhaps?
How clear does the water look?
Is it flowing well here or does it look quite still?
What noise is the water making as the river flows?
Are there any aromas or even tastes I am noticing on this walk?
Do I prefer to be nearer to the water?
Who might I have with me, or am I alone on this walk?

If I were to find a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the scenery what would my seat be like? (imagine sitting on the really comfy seat)
